Description NISZ LibreOffice Team 2019-04-11 10:36:09 UTC
Description:
When trying to copy and paste from a GroupWise mail client to Writer text for example can only be pasted as Unformatted text, otherwise nothing gets inserted.

Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Open the attached clipboard file (saved from GroupWise mail client from: http://gwclient.provo.novell.com/ ) in Free Clipboard Viewer: http://www.freeclipboardviewer.com/
    2. Try and paste in Writer.
    3. Another way to reproduce this:
    4. Open GroupWise.
    5. Start writing a new mail, and add formatting to the text.
    6. Copy some text from the mail. Alternatively you can send it and open the outgoing mail with the same effect.
    7. Try pasting it to Writer.

Actual Results:
Nothing happens when pasting (Ctrl+V) only when doing it as unformatted text.

Expected Results:
There shouldn’t be a problem with pasting as the text does appear in the clipboard when copying from GroupWise mails.

Reproducible: Always

Clipboard content saved as RTF

Copied the RTF-format clipboard content from Free Clipboard Viewer and pasted as plain text. This opens up fine in LO, although the highlight formatting does not appear.

I don't reproduce in Windows.
attachment 150694 [details] saved clipboard can be pasted in LO with Ctrl+V and it pastes unformatted text, because it's saved that way.
I tried coping from HTML Zimbra mail, works fine with formatting.

Please retest or close.
