Description: Hello, I am using LibreOffice with a HiDPI screen and noticed blurry icons in toolbar, start center and other places with icons. Also the previews in print preview and the document preview in start page are not sharp. When I run in terminal ~$ SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk lowriter the icons are shown perfect. On Kubuntu with KDE default also no problem here. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start LibreOffice on a system with HiDPI screen 2.At the beginning you should see the blurry icons Actual Results: Blurry icons in toolbars, no sharp previews in printing dialog or start center. Expected Results: Sharp previews and icons as they are availible with KDE-desktop or with SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk lowriter (command example). Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: I am using OS: Ubuntu 19.04 with Gnome 3.34.1 Graphics: Radeon RX 560 Series Screen: 27" 3840x2160 @ 60 Hz LibreOffice: 6.3.3.2 I tried several icon sizes and icon themes. With the svg-themes the icons are getting more blurrier.

Sorry, I am not using Ubuntu 19.04, as written in my first post. I am using Ubuntu 19.10 (But in LibreOffice with Ubuntu 19.04 this bug was also present)
Today I tried the AppImage LibreOfficeDev Version: 6.4.0.0.beta1 to see how icons in this beta are shown. But here also no change to the latest LO Fresh. Icons are still blurry. Used to test: File LibreOffice-6.4.0.0.beta1.de-x86_64.AppImage from http://libreoffice.soluzioniopen.com/index.php/pre-releases/
Does it work if you disable OpenGl ? -> https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/OpenGL I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the issue is still present
Thank you for answering me. I checked Tools ▸ Options ▸ LibreOffice ▸ View but cannot find OpenGL to enable/disable it. But I found a setting in "expert configuration" Tools ▸ Options ▸ LibreOffice ▸ "Erweitert" (or eng: Advanced). Please see my screenshots. Doesn't matter what setting I choose, problem is still present. Did you mean this?

Created attachment 156364 [details] Screenshot LibreOffice Writer with FullHD-screen Today I did a test and changed the screen. For now I am using a FullHD-screen and with the same LO the icons are sharp.
Created attachment 156717 [details] Fuzzy icons on LibreOffice in Fedora Wayland HiDPI scaled desktop I confirm that the icons on HiDPI are blurry on Fedora Linux. I am using a scaled HiDPI XWayland GNOME session. See the attachment
Maybe I should have stated that I'm using a *fractionally* scaled (150%) Wayland desktop.

I am using a > scaled HiDPI XWayland GNOME session. See the attachment For issues with Wayland + gtk3 + scaling, see bug 140388 (or search for a better match). Let's keep this report focused on Pinguin's issue: blurriness in HiDPI with GTK3 (no blurriness in GTK2), no mention of Wayland or scaling. Setting back to unconfirmed. Pinguin, are you still seeing the same issue in a recent version, 7.4 or 7.5?
Actually, this matches bug 123305 very closely, so marking as a duplicate. Thank you! *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 123305 ***
