Description Timur 2020-03-09 13:21:11 UTC
Bug 104349 made a compatibility option for "Word-compatible trailing blanks".
Help doesn't explain that.
And there are some other missing compatibility options in Options-Writer-Compatibility.

bug 104668 is a more appropriate choice.

I see only three missing (toward end of the list)

"Protect form..." (bug 123912, comment 14)
"Hide paragraphs of database..." (bug 35798)
"Render non-breaking..." (Bug 41652)

plus at top a global feature was added (https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/67902)
"Reorganize Form..."

I do not understand any of these options, so will not attempt generating help descriptions.

More generally: Maybe the entire dialog UI should be evaluated from a UX POV

(e.g, better sequencing of choices, such as putting all the "paragraph and table" spacing options together or all the 1.1 options together). Maybe a separate heading is unnecessary for "Form menu" if there is only going to be one change like this. And "Reorganize" is not a good word for the label. Maybe a better label might be "Form dropdown menu like Microsoft". (could be good to change before adding something to the help page).
