I create this META for Text box's column bugs and enhancements

Mike K. implemented columns for Impress predefined text boxes in

https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/116035 ODF support
https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/116738 PPTX support
https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/116034 implement layout
https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/116038 create document model and dialog page

And now we have columns feature for all text boxes in LibreOffice

You can find it in Text dialogs on Text column tab from Format>Object and Shape>Text attributes main menu entry
