After spending months working in Windows with a set of macros mapped to keyboard shortcuts, when I attempted to switch to Linux (or MacOS) and found my shortcuts do not work. Here is a list of shortcuts that I use that I've found not working so far, For macos, CMD+Shift+. CMD+Shift+, CMD+Shift+[ CMD+Shift+] ALT+[ ALT+] For Linux CNTRL+Shift+. CNTRL+Shift+, and under KDE for some reason, CNTRL+Shift+[ CNTRL+Shift+] In fact going through the list offered under Tools -> Customize -> Keyboard, there are many many more. The layout doesn't make a difference. I've checked Writer component in v6, v7.0.6 and v7.1.3/4 since that's all I se but a quick look at Calc seems to suffer for similar issues.
(In reply to Jordi from comment #0) > For Linux > > CNTRL+Shift+. > CNTRL+Shift+, For me, Ctrl-Shift-. works, but Ctrl-Shift-comma does not NixOS Version: 7.3.0.0.alpha0+ / LibreOffice Community Build ID: b1df9c67349cf4cc5be4128d797aefb87f50e38f CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 5.13; UI render: default; VCL: x11 Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
Decided to take another look at the Linux situation and see if there was any progress. My system, Version: 24.2.2.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 420(Build:2) CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 6.8; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US Ubuntu package version: 4:24.2.2-0ubuntu1 Calc: threaded Found the following not working, CNTRL+Shift+] CNTRL+Shift+. CNTRL+Shift+, Interestingly, under Tools|Customize|Keyboard, when I press CNTRL+Shift+] to take me to the entry for that key, it takes me to CNTRL+Shift+} (curly brace)! My macros for CNTRL+Shift+[ and CNTRL+Shift+] are mapped and listed above it, but the application is detecting it as } not ]. Other apps are not having issues detecting the key combo correctly. Likewise, the entries for CNTRL+Shift+. and CNTRL+Shift+, are there but the Tools|Customize screen doesn't jump to them as with the others. Again no issues with other apps.
