hi, it is absolutely great that we can "send" the outline to clipboard from navigator's context menu... what could still be improved is that this context menu item could be available anywhere in the navigator window, and not only when we right click / "context click" on "headings"... it should be present in the context menu anywhere where we right click.. .... +1: .... it'd be great if there would e two context menu items for sending the outline to clipboard 1: what we have now, "sent outline to clipboard" 2: "send outline under this heading to clipboard" (perhaps as: "send 'this' outline to clipboard") 3: okay, one more, as it logically offers itself: "copy text under this heading to clipboard" :) for example: h1 h2 h2 h2 <-- imagine right-clicking here h3 h3 h4 h4 h3 h2 NOTE: when "send to clipboard" is replaced with "copy" it will be more intuitive, as well as shorter :) - - - thank you for developing Writer! - - -

To summarise, you'd like four things: - rename "Send outline to clipboard" as "Copy outline" - right-click anywhere in the navigator's outline to access that function - add menu item to copy only a section, possibly ending up with both "Copy full outline" and "Copy this outline" - a third menu item for to copy anything under a particular heading (i.e. the contents of a section, instead of the headings) Waiting on UX evaluation.
I wouldn't make "Send/Copy Outline" a complex function that changes depending on where you click. If you need all items after x you can just delete. My take => WF
No further opinion on this so resolving WF now.
