Description:
The show of menu icons in gtk3 was recently discussed (Bug 123265), but it was decided that showing them all the time does not comply with HIG. However, it might make sense to add always showing to the gtk3_kde5 plugin.

Actual Results:
Menu icons are not show when opening libreoffice with vcl gtk3_kde5 plugin

Expected Results:
When opening libreoffice with the vcl gtk3_kde5 plugin, menu icons are shown

There is the expert option ShowIconsInMenues, see bug 140246 comment 3. The request for a UI control was rejected in bug 140246.
