Formatting cells in Calc is a frequent operation: e.g. number formats and other formats. Often, one formats a specific cell and wants to apply the same format to the remaining column or row. Unfortunately, this requires more effort than it should. Solution: Implement buttons to automatically clone the current cell to: - the entire row; - the remaining row, starting from the current cell; - the entire column; - the remaining column starting from the current cell; Icons: ->, <->, Down-Arrow, Up/Down-Arrow; - arrows seem adequate to indicate the function of the buttons; Note: - Column headers and Row headers may be formatted different; - Applying a format to a cell in the 2nd row and then wanting to apply it to the remaining column is common; - Current Clone tool is impractical beyond copying the format to a few cells; Related Issues: 1. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69190 - FORMATTING: Simplify use of Clone Formatting for whole columns or rows (allow clicking on headers, à la Excel); - this issue is more flexible: enables to clone formatting to part of a row/column; 2. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99936 - Clone Formating with Arrow Keys; - slightly related;
