Buggy odt file

LO crashes on close if an .odt document created by previous version of LO (I think, 3.3.0). This issue affects other open documents.(writer, cacl, impress etc.) All LO instances crashes.

I've attached an .odt file to reproduce the bug. If you open the file by LO 3.4.1

How to reproduce bug:

1-Open sample.odt file by LO 3.4.1.
2-Close file.
3-Open it again or another LO file.
4-You will see the 'LibreOffice Document Recovery' window. (This means the LO crashed on closing sample.odt file.)

[Reproducible] with reporter's sample document "LibreOffice 3.4.2 - WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [OOO340m1 (Build:203)]". I simply open the document by double click, use menu 'File -> Exit', and LibO crahses, Recovery dialog appears.

No crash with OOo 3.4
No crash with "LibreOffice Portable 3.3.3  - WIN7  Home Premium (64bit) German UI [OOO330m19 (Build:301  Tag 3.3.3.1)]"

Master "LibO-dev 3.4.5 – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) English UI
[(Build ID:d337f79-a24c961-2865670-9752b71-7f8fd43

	82ff335-599f7e9-bc6a545-1926fdf)]"
fails opening the sample doucment

Not a general problem, self created documents from LibO 3.3.3. do not crash.

@Ismail SEZEN
This is a rather complex document with several formattings and styles I never saw before. It would help if you could contribute a more simple test document. Can you find out what elements in your document cause the crash?

For such tests you can simply use a Portable LibO version from
<http://www.libreoffice.org/download/portable/>

OS -> All due to Comment 1
Component -> WRITER because onyl WRITER document available.

I am pretty sure that this one is a DUP of "Bug 39510 - CRASH closing document with footnotes" and will close this one as a DUP on 2011-08-20 if no other information will be available.

@reporter:
For crashes with other documents (.ods, .odg, ...) please file separate Bugs, may be with a reference to this one.

Actually, I'm only a messenger and my friend found this bug. I'll deliver your wish to him. And another additional info:

- The original of the 'sample.odt' file has been created by LibO 3.3 but it's changed by LibO 3.4.1 and saved as 'sample.odt'. I mean, sample.odt is modified by LibO 3.4.1. But it's still cause crash.

We will try to make simple test file and add it here. As you suspected, this may be DUP of Bug 39510.

more simple buggy odt file

'sample2.odt' is much more simple test file of 'sample.odt'.

Let me share a strange behavior of the document with you. I hope this will help you to determine the bug point.

1. Open sample2.odt file.
2. In the LibO menu: 'Select View->Print Layout'
3. And Close LibO.
4. LibO does not crash.

[Reproducible] with reporter's new sample document "LibreOffice 3.4.2  - WIN7  Home Premium (64bit) German UI [OOO340m1 (Build:203)]"

New sample document shows Bug 39510 crash reason (footnotes for paragraph over more than 1 page), so DUP

@Ismail SEZEN
Thank you for your second reduced sample. It shows the Bug 39510 crash reason, so I am pretty sure that this one is a DUP, but of course unfortunately until Bug 39510 will have been fixed, I can't do tests concerning other bug reasons.

Can you please watch this issue and test again when fix for Bug 39510 will be available (please mention taht sometimes it takes some times until a fix will be integrated into the public versions, you will have to test with a Master build or with the version mentioned in Whiteboard as "target".

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 39510 ***

I'll watch it and test again when LibO 3.4.2 release will be available. Thanks Rainer for fast replies.
