Description Rainer Bielefeld Retired 2011-09-25 01:59:00 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
1. Download sample presentation from
   <https://issues.apache.org/ooo/attachment.cgi?id=76397>
   from OOo bug #117872
2. create a copy of the odcument
3. Start presentations in Impress and from sample and in MX EXCEL
   or EXCEL Viewer from copy
4. Compare
   Expected: more or less identical
Actual: 3D-look and "golden" color missing in headins

In my screenshots you see additional differences what might have the same roots or might be different issues:
- The background is much lighter
- "chinese" letters shown instead of bulletw

- Reported with Bug Submission Assistant - Firefox 6.0.2

I don't see in the original file the slide shown in jpg (second attachment).

Following Buovjaga's comment, any update with last stable LO version 6.4.6?

The golden titles color is okay, and the background is also looking good in:

Version: 7.2.0.0.alpha0+ (x64)
Build ID: 0f7008e91f45cf8e3cee6f372ce012b38a795e26
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.3 Build 9600; UI render: default; VCL: win
Locale: hu-HU (hu_HU); UI: en-US
Calc: CL

Still missing the Shadow font effect from the golden titles.

Similar to bug #36229 which also has Shadow font effect.

Setting to NEW for the Shadow effect. Also correcting meta bug.

Comment 12 Regina Henschel 2024-03-29 23:19:59 UTC
The example file has these problems:

(1) The shadow in the title is on the text. That is not implemented in LO. But LO could use the shadow of the text box as workaround in case the text box has no fill and no stroke.

(2) The title uses 'Bevel' on the text. 'Bevel' is currently not implemented, neither for shapes nor for text and it cannot be expressed in ODF.

(3) The yellow text has a gradient fill. Gradient for text is not implemented and cannot be expressed in ODF. But in case of gradient text an average color or the center color could be used as workaround. That would result in a similar color instead of the color White.
