Created attachment 52070 [details] ODP for image export testing LibreOffice in Ubuntu 11.04 32-bit doesn't export some images contained in slides when exporting to PDF. Attached is an example odp file with one slide. LibreOffice 3.3.4 (official Ubuntu version), and 3.4.2 version from official site also, exports slide without image. On the other hand, OpenOffice 3.3 on Linux/Windows exports slide correctly. Steps to reproduce bug: 1. Open attached MissingImage.odp file in LibreOffice 3.3.4/3.4.2 in 32-bit Ubuntu 11.04 2. Export to PDF 3. Image is missing in PDF
Created attachment 52071 [details] PDF export files from various LO/OO versions Inside ZIP archive are 4 PDF files I got from testing on LibreOffice 3.3 and 3.4 on Ubuntu 11.04 32-bit, OpenOffice 3.1 on WIndows, and OpenOffice 3.3 on Ubuntu 11.04 32-bit. They show that LO exports without image, and OO works correctly.
Created attachment 52788 [details] The problematic picture from the document
I do not see the problem with another EMF/WMF document, so it is somehow related to the particular one => it can't block the whole release => lowering the severity a bit. As a workaround, you might use the picture in another file format, for example, .eps, .svg, .png. Rodo, you might be interested into this bug. BTW: The picture seems to be in the EMF and not in the WMF file format. I was not able to insert it into presentation with the .wmf file name extension. It helped to rename it to .emf. Unfortunately, it did not solve the PDF export problem.
Well, the problem is that original document contains 10-20 images which don't show in LibreOffice PDF export (I just extracted one slide). And the original document was made in OpenOffice and export feature worked (and still works). Which means, it got broken somwhere during LibreOffice development. I will try to re-insert images again, but I don't have the original format (they were made in some Win program, I don't know which, maybe Visio).

Just tested with LO 3.5.0rc1 (as part of QA/BugHunting Session 3.5.0.-2), and it also doesn't export image to pdf. Ubuntu 11.10 32-bit.
reproducible with LO 4.0.1.2 (Win7 Home, 64bit)
Image pdf export problem still in 4.0.3 Win7
Confirm reproducible on LO 4.0.4.2 (Win7 32bit), image zoomed in on upper left corner. Same as Bug 55345 & Bug 36397
Created attachment 91534 [details] two presentation slides, each containing jpg image
I just tested MissingImage.odp (file that I sent for original bug report) in LO 4.1.3.2, Build ID: 410m0(Build:2) and export works as it should. Nice! However, I tried the just posted twopages.odp, and when I try to export it to pdf, I always get this error dialog box: Error saving the document twopages: Write Error. The file could not be written. no matter where I tried to save.
related to bug 72530 ?
Zarko, setting this to WORKSFORME. NoRepro:4.3.0.0a0+:OSX NoRepro:4.2.0.2:OSX Please use the latest stable LO release in which this is also fixed. If any issue with another file persists, please create a new bug. Thanks :)
