Created attachment 96312 [details] Excel test file this is a problem of portability of an Excel file to libreoffice Calc. I use my home to an Excel 2007 on a 64bit W7 and work there libreoffice V 4.1.5.3 on XP SP3 In the Excel 2007 file, a scrollbar changes the cell value from 0 to 20 by increments of 5. I open the excel file with libreoffice calc 1)If I save the file as xlsx and opens with libreoffice calc I'm fine from 0 to 15 in increments of 5, but the next value is 16!? 2)If I save the file in xls format and opens with libreoffice calc I'm fine from 0 to 15 in increments of 5, but the next value is 19!? in both cases when I open the settings window scrollbar in libreoffice Calc I have min = 0 and max = 20 but it is not the value available in the linked cell. Use scrollbar in calc works very well, the problem is to open an Excel file containing scrollbar. I tried several different settings but the last value is never okay. many people encounter the same bug, French discussion here: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Probleme-d-importation-d-un-fichier-excel-avec-des-curseurs-tc4102254.html#a4102832 thank you for your interest in this bug frédéric

Hello The bug is still present with LO 5.0.5 with Windows7 64bit Fred
Confirmed with LO 5.2.3~rc2-0ubuntu1~trusty1 on KXStudio 14.04 Thoroughly tested using the attachment 96312 [details]: * Original file (xlsx) only allows to go up to 16 using the scrollbar (even though the control properties show "20" as max value); * If original file is saved as ods and opened, it also only allows to go up to 16 using the scrollbar (even though the control properties show "20" as max value); * If original file is saved as xls and opened, the max value is set to 0 in the control properties. If max is set to 20 manually, the scrollbar can only reach 19.
Changing version back to the earliest affected version.

Some people (like me) don't have easy access to MS Office so can't really test the second half of your issue.
