Now that we have a couple of new data bar features implemented (gradient vs. solid fill - bug 87356, variable data bar lenghts - bug 90197, option to show a bar only without actual cell value - bug 89199), it'd be kinda nice to show a preview of a sample cell w/ data bar in the corresponding dialog (Format -> Conditional Formatting -> Data Bar -> More options... )
Thanks Katarina for the great conditional formatting work. Firstly i believe that the positive color and fill type need to be moved from the 'more options' to the main dialog, as mentioned in bug 86509, as the whole point of data bars is to show a color so it cant be considered a more option. So then it would also be useful to have the preview in the main dialog as well. I would suggest another row be added to the main dialog with positive color, fill type, then preview. On a side note, if the backend work is already implemented for data bar border color, it would be great to add it into the more options dialog. :D
