Steps to reproduce
1) Create a new doc
2) Click on Insert special character
3) See window

Actual result:
All symbols shown are from a system font (in my case, Droid Sans), even if I do select any typeface in the selector. As a side effect, I can't select symbols which aren't included in my system typeface.

Expected
The symbols shown in the grid should correspond to the selected typeface.


This bug is very similar to bug 90269, though indepentent of Graphite fonts
