Description spartanhooah 2015-10-03 21:44:32 UTC
Attempting to print a two-page document back-to-back results in a single blank page. The document is simple, containing two large images (e.g. http://imgur.com/izBTWSb.jpg).
Comment 1 Cor Nouws 2015-10-04 07:36:05 UTC
Hi spartanhooah,

Thanks for the report. I guess there must be something with automatically inserted blanc pages (Tools > Options > Writer > Print ..) or simply lack of a bit more margin on page one.
I suggest you try that and ask support or our user-channels.

Might it turn out that there is another problem, then of course do reopen and give a clear test file.
Thanks,
Cor

Hello, same problem here. I was printing all normaly just yesterday, today I have updated my installed LibreOffice version to last release and now I'm unable to print any file. Also some files user in warehouse, never modified by months, just printed.
Also print dialog page is trange by this realease (see attachment), it appeared a pink color behind "little page".

I got only a blank page if I try to print with real printer or export in PDF with Microsoft win 10 printer function.
If I try to print something other outside LibreOffice (like a photo, pdf file and other) printer work well, so problem is not driver or printer.

I think there is a bug in this release. My OS is Windows 10 64 bit.

I cannot reproduce with LO 5.0.2.2 32-bit on Windows 7 64-bit.
Please attach a file you cannot print.

Just tested now: unistalled 5.0.2 and reinstalled older 5.0.1.2, I can print all correctly.
Also with 5.0.2 I was experiencing some performance problem only with file opened with Calc and Writer (I use expecially this 2 program of suite): scroll file or find some word was been slow. Now with older version all work correctly again.

Hi everyone

I'm facing the same issue, in my case I have LibreOffice Version: 5.0.3.2
Build ID: e5f16313668ac592c1bfb310f4390624e3dbfb75-GL and I'm running it in Windows 10 Build 10.0.10586. Does not matter what I want to print, the Writer program just send me a blank page. Apparently this is an issue of the version 5.0.2+, because with the previous version I haven't printing issues at all.

If someone knows a workaround or something like that, I really appreciate if share it.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Happening for me here too

Updated to LibreOffice Version: 5.0.3.2 from 5.0.1 on windows 10 Pro 64bit
Libreoffice now just spits out blank pages when printing

A duplicate of Bug 94851 - Images not printed (paper and PDF) with OpenGL activated?

Don't think so, I get no text printing, Bug 94851 is just images.

(Just tested, turning off openGL makes no difference, still prints blank)

Same problem of blank pages when print command executed on only one file at this time.

I am running Version: 5.0.3.2 Build ID: e5f16313668ac592c1bfb310f4390624e3dbfb75-GL on Win8.1 64bit on an HP Pavilion. I used a workaround by exporting to PDF and printing the PDF from Foxit PDF Reader. The problem file contains text and images and has been printed in previous versions.

I update the title with "in Windows 8.1 and 10" because that's what I conclude from here. Feel free to update it again with some more data.
Comment 16 craig.chandler 2016-01-19 01:28:35 UTC
Today I updated to version 5.0.4.2 (x64) and all the documents that where printing blank in 5.0.3.2 are printing again

> I cannot reproduce with LO 5.0.2.2 32-bit on Windows 7 64-bit.

Could NOT reproduce also on Windows 10 64-bit with LO 5.0.3.2 64-bit and master 32-bit. Tested with attachment 119356 [details].

To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, please try resetting your user profile: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile and re-test.

Also please test saving as PDF and printing to virtual printer (such as PDFill).

I tried to file a similar bug, but I was referred to this one (possibly related to the change of the bug name in between).
Win10x64pro and home do not print graphics, just text. Happens in Writer and Draw.
Changing the settings in the Options menu of LO to deactivate OpenGl gave some relief with opening the files with text and graphics, but not with printing on each of the different systems; sometimes the path to linked files was changed after saving to one which does not even exist on any of the PCs; sometimes the print preview shows graphics, not that often also the printer menu with it's little preview window, in printing itself they are lost.
Booting and printing the same (old, not changed for years) file with LO under Ubuntu 14.02 (same PCs) no problem.
Also no problem with Win Vista (my old "weak laptop"), and previously with Win7. Same printer otherwise working correctly over WLAN and ethernet. Other software prints all of the graphics!
I assume, it is a Win10 related problem (or, of course, a LO problem - latest version *.04 x64 or x32 were tried out - not being integrated correctly into the Win10 environment).

I just installed LO 5.1.03 x64.
All problems solved on all of my systems!

Please confirm you still have this problem with LO 5.0.5.
If so, please test saving as PDF and printing to virtual printer (such as PDFill).
