The lines around fontwork aer not smooth again.
Comment 3 Scott 2016-02-10 22:47:52 UTC
Update: Looks like its not being rendered correctly on the screen but the printout is ok.
Comment 4 Buovjaga 2016-02-12 16:58:20 UTC
Does it depend on OpenGL? Tools - Options - LibO - View - Use OpenGL for all rendering
Comment 5 Scott 2016-02-12 22:03:00 UTC
Ooohh! Turning off OpenGL makes it better. Will having this off have an effect on other stuff?

No, it's fine. I think your graphics card is in the blacklist, but they forgot to include the blacklist in 5.1.0 release :)
It will be corrected in 5.1.1, so any problematic gfx drivers will cause OGL to be automatically disabled.

One helpful thing you could do is copy and paste here the contents of this file:

Wait for 5.1.1 release and then let us know if it works correctly

OK you'll see I added 3 files. One opengl log file for the laptop which this is really about and 2 others. The other 2 are for a desktop I have that libreoffice crashes when use opengl is enabled in libre office. Will the 5.1.1 change fix this too or is this a separate ticket I should create?
Comment 12 Buovjaga 2016-02-15 18:03:20 UTC
Scott: you can try 5.1.1.1 out even now, if you wish.
You can install this SI-GUI tool: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/SI-GUI
Download link: http://tdf.io/siguiexe

Then click the Download dropdown and select 5.1.1.1 from the very bottom.
Begin download and after it is complete, Start installation. It will be done automatically and will not affect your stable installed version.

However, it might be that we have to wait for 5.1.1.2 for everything to work as this was just fixed today: bug 96546

both of the OpenGL devices in the attachments comment #9 and #10 would be blacklisted in current master and libreoffice-5-1
