Description Henrik 2016-04-09 21:33:33 UTC
Instructions to reproduce:
1. Open Impress
2. Insert image
3. Make sure that at least the 'Shadow', 'Graphic', and 'Position and Size' content panels are open in the sidebar.
4. Resize the sidebar so that it becomes as narrow as possible.
5. Notice how the right side of the drop down lists in the 'Shadow' panel disappears behind the tab bar.

Interestingly it only does this in some specific configurations of the content panels in the sidebar. It also happens sometimes to each of the other content panels, but it depends on the configuration. Furthermore, the 'Line' content panel seems to have its content centered instead of aligned to the right as the other content panels.

This bug appears both in 5.1.1 and the latest development build.

Does the problem persist, if you disable this and restart: Tools - Options - LibreOffice - View - Use OpenGL for all rendering?

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided the information.
Comment 2 Henrik 2016-04-29 15:18:01 UTC
Yes, it happens no matter whether OpenGL is enabled or not.
Comment 3 Buovjaga 2016-05-09 10:41:16 UTC
I don't see the problem.

Maybe you could attach a screenshot.

Narrow with problem specified

As you can see, the drop down menu buttons have disappeared behind the tab bar.

I had a hunch and confirmed: this needs at least Windows 8!!

can reproduce but don't know the reason the .ui file work ok.

However I'd like to fix BUG 136073 and this patch should fix also this bug.

Screenshot of sidebar in Writer where the problem occurs

The problem still occurs with latest builds.

Here's an easier set of instructions to reproduce:
1. Open Writer
2. Open "Page" tab on sidebar
3. Expand "Header" and "Footer" sections
4. Resize the sidebar so that it becomes as narrow as possible.

Result: the right side of the drop down lists in the sidebar disappears behind the tab bar.
