Press CTRL+B and monitor the time until the CPU usage drops from max to 0 (for me 5 sec with LibO6 and 3 sec with a good build: for example commit f8f8bdf24f7fc2f76810d36c4e1ce0e808c9509e) 6. Undo the change (CTRL+Z) With LibO6 6 seconds at max. It is complicated enough to have separate Graphite and Uniscribe layout engines. Will make further changes to the code easier to manage, especially as with the UniscribeLayout code we have access to the actual glyphs. (Cf. 3e47219e06b9a279ba22a9bbef668731f2d3e07d)
In my case, it takes 3 seconds in each case. @Tor, Would you like to comment about this issue? Personally I would say NOTABUG. A difference of 2 seconds in a 1486 pages file is irrelevant to me.
Could you please try with LibreOffice 6.0 alpha1 http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/pre-releases/?
