When working with tables in writer often I need select some not adjacent cells. But can not. For example, in table: X O O O X O O O X I need select all three cells with "X". I propose add ability selecting not adjacent cells in table in Writer
The same here. Functionality still not available on 3.4.2. Should be nice select non adjacent cells using ctrl key.
[This is an automated message.] This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases. Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugHunting_Session_3.5.0.-1 more detail on this bulk operation: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/RFC-Operation-Spamzilla-tp3607474p3607474.html
remains in LibO 3.5.0 beta 1
Usually, this comes up when someone wants to alternate the background on (invisible on print) tables like this: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX ........................... XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX ........................... XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Without the ability to select non adjacent cells/rows/columns this becomes tedious.
still reproducible with LO 4.3.0.4 (Win 8.1)

I'm not sure if this qualifies as "enhancement", since Ctrl+left mouse button adds to selection everywhere else, except table cells in Writer. In my opinion, this is not a critical, but a quite annoying bug. Tested with LO 24.8.1.2.
