some bts at random

On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, I reproduced the problem.

I attached some bts at random.

I noticed these logs too:

simplified document

This issue is still present in

Build ID: 81898c9f5c0d43f3473ba111d7b351050be20261
Locale: es-ES (es_ES)

on Windows 7 (64-bit)

When I open it with Word 2010, an alert prompts saying: "the dimensions after cropping are too small or too large"

backtrace master 5.3 from Windbg.txt

Attached is backtrace with master 5.3 from Windbg. Backtrace with Xisco's simplified doc is different.
I don't have that SAXParseException error message.
Comment 11 Michael Stahl (allotropia) 2016-10-24 15:11:57 UTC
from the backtrace in comment #10 it's obvious this is some kind of layout loop.

Extracted WMF file

I have extracted the WMF files, but after extraction I don't have problems with openings it (LO displays it correctly).

The terminal shows two interesting warnings after opening original .doc files:

warn:vcl.unx.print:26782:26782:vcl/unx/generic/printer/ppdparser.cxx:839: no Resolution in /tmp/0689e60f94384
warn:legacy.osl:26782:26782:sw/source/core/crsr/crsrsh.cxx:1959: endless loop? CharRect != OldCharRect
