Steps how to reproduce with Version 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: 7ee2857ab5daa791d36615d149ee562020b883e) TinderBox: Win-x86@7-MinGW, Branch:master, Time: 2013-02-17_08:19:43: 1. download Attachment 74999 [details] for Bug 61018 2. Open document from LibO Start Center (ignore error, does not matter) 3. Small Edit, add a blank somewhere in the document. 4. Menu 'File -> Save as - NewName.odt' <Save> Bug: Error Message "Error Saving .... . General Error" Not too bad, it seems document will be saved without damages. <http://odf-validator2.rhcloud.com/odf-validator2/> indicates valid ODF if saved with option "ODF 1.2" This one might be related to or Dup of "Bug 43246 - MinGW FILEOPEN FILESAVE .odt: General Error message"
No problem here with Version 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: 871712ad62bb01359c29713a148a5673e26df1a) (build from a few days ago). I'll ask Joren to test with a newer build as his builds are quite a bit faster.
Can't reproduce using LibreOffice Version 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: 07ee72672e6966dafccf21ca3349e428c2a9dd0) (git log shows me that the last commit was on Date: Sun Feb 17 19:53:00 2013 +0100) Following your timestamp my build is newer ... so I can't reproduce using Linux Mint 14 x64. Kind regards, Joren
Marking as WFM. Rainer - of course if you keep seeing this reopen it. @Joren - you have to teach me how you get that time stamp ;) (put the comment here so Rainer knows I'm trying)
Sorry for lack of details: Bodhi Linux Version 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: 6c89f2e74aa9b202d6d6a41a178ba9aadb2b10e) Pulled today (just a few hours ago)
@Joel (In reply to comment #4): As already discussed, that has nothing to do with problems with MinGW builds, only shows that it isn't a general Master builds problem. <https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport_Details#Libreoffice> I reproduce the problem also on a second WIN7 64Bit PC, so reopened
Thanks Rainer, just going to move this to NEW as it's you reporting ;) If you still want independent confirmation let us know and we'll find someone who can test it
The MinGW port is dead, there is no need for that any more - our normal Windows build became pretty reliable & easy to set up in the meantime.
