In Impress and Draw, once you select a shape, another click will change to rotate mode and a click after that will change back to select mode. This is not available in Writer or Calc, where you have to click the rotate button in the toolbar in order to rotate.
UX-advise, so Status -> NEW
I solved this problem for writer https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/#/c/27995/ . Already working on calc. LibreOfficeDev 5.3.0.0.alpha0 7057327e38c2467823155572205c4c8c4cba1ea9
Sorry, it solves another else bug about reported here --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91530
We're replacing our use of the 'ux-advise' component with a keyword: Component -> LibreOffice Add Keyword: needsUXEval [NinjaEdit]
Removing needsUX. With Gülşah's reference this might be an easyhack.
(In reply to Heiko Tietze from comment #5) > Removing needsUX. With Gülşah's reference this might be an easyhack. Gülşah's fix has been reverted on master, so it needs re-evaluation.

Affects both Calc and Writer, for all drawing objects (duplicates talk about fontwork and shapes).
