When editing the masks, it's impossible to create several dynamic text zones or several title zone and so on. I would also like to be able to copy/paste them from a mask to another to be sure to have the same fonts, sizes, and so on. For this, I find Microsoft PowerPoint still better: LibreOffice would be even better if some of its features where copied. Thx!
Being able to put a hierarchy between the masks (like it's the case for styles) would be a good first step.
I found by chance the button to setup the view of the diapo (title + one text zone, title + 2 text zones, title + text zone + image,...) It's too much hidden, and it should appear (IMHO) in the mask editor. I'm happy to have found it...
Sorry for my question: But what is a "Mask Editor"? Could you please give me more information where in IMPRESS you experience what (different single steps to reproduce it). Thank you very much in advance.
Sorry, my interface is in french... In English it's called Slide Master. To me, the layouts should be linked to the slide master, so that I can edit each layout. Also, as already said above, being able to copy paste the text zones or copy the styles would be great. If you need more information, I'll be glad to give them.
UX: what do you think?
We're replacing our use of the 'ux-advise' component with a keyword: Component -> LibreOffice Add Keyword: needsUXEval [NinjaEdit]
Not sure if Impress works in this way and allows to have variable zones. In bug 102318 (and bug 102302) a subtitle field is requested. It's worth to discuss if we can be more flexible. To paste the format when copied with a style has to work, yes. But that's another topic.
Let's resolve this as WF. We are bound to the format definition and besides, all areas are clearly to see. And I don't get the point of comment 2, the master is not the same as templates in Writer.
