Hi, I think we should implement "Live Preview" in LibreOffice. Mainly, this feature consist of seeing formatting changes before applying them (when choosing a font for example). Please implement this feature (consistently across all LO applications). It can make formatting much more comfortable. Currently, the user must apply the new format (style, font, color...). If it doesn't look as he/she wants, it must be "undone" and some other choices used eventually. This feature will enable to just keep the mouse cursor for some time (e.g. 1 second) to "live preview" be applied. After moving the cursor out the preview will dropped out immediately. Very simple, very effective.

The help tip for this feature in Microsoft Office is "Show a preview of how a feature affects the document as you hover over different choices." This feature is implemented in the toolbar and context menu. 1) Toolbar - When a ribbon or mini toolbar control has multiple choices, like a comboboxes (e.g. font name), listboxes (e.g. paragraph style), split button menu (e.g. font color), and group button (e.g. line spacing). 2) Context menu - When the context menu has multiple choice submenu options, like paste special and wrap text.

Update: Caolán fixed the regression in bug 158320. So we now have live-preview of font again since 24.2.
