I see you active in at least one of these issues, so I hope you agree that I assign this one to you.

May I propose issue 37114 to the list ?

Very annoying group of bugs... Half of my Impress presentations are incorrectly displayed: it means that, with this bug, Impress is quiet unusable !

This problem is a regression from openoffice, but present in libO 3.3, and already reported many months ago (see for example bug 33591)...
Comment 4 Cor Nouws 2011-05-22 10:33:13 UTC
me too had a presentation recently, with lots op transparants on one sheet, that only after a lot of trying and removing could be showed correctly.
See if I can make a test case one of these days ... :-\

Created attachment 49970 [details]
This is a test of some objects with transparency and gradient not correctly rendered in presentation mode.

Theses bugs remains in LibO version 3.4.2. Especially, I think bug 35681 and bug 33591 are not correctly fixed, as you can see in the file in attachment. I suggest to re-open them!

Ah ok, the version is set to the first when the problem occured, sorry... But in this case, I think the correct version here should be 3.3.x, I remember theses bugs already occured in the first release of LibO !

I opened a new bug

This task bug is the completely wrong place for your (great) sample document.

As I see now, it is not for "VIEWING: Gradient loss for bright transparent objects on dark background in presentation mode", because the original report was concerning a tranparency problem without problem.
Please do not flood Bugzilla with identical sample attachments, hyperlinks are enough.
Please do not attach arbitrary samples to any bug that seem to have to do with Presentation and/or gradient and/or transparency. Be precise!

Sorry if I put my file in the wrong place. My intention was just to show that problems remains with gradients, despite the fixes of bugs 35681 and 33591. Thanks to have open a new bug for my attachment. I added this bug 39905 here, I hope it's correct ;)
Comment 10 Rainer Bielefeld Retired 2011-08-08 05:08:25 UTC
Bug 39905 is a DUP

"Bug 42553 - VIEWING: wrong gradient geometry in Presentation mode" has been added by reporter

3.4 lifecycle is terminated, so shifted to “Bug 37361 - LibreOffice 3.5 most annoying bugs”

no open children => no longer a MAB.

query for gradients ... http://bit.ly/12Q15fs
and conclude that the fact that there are no children in this issues, says little about the rest of bugzilla

There are some open children now, but I'm not convinced that a tracking bug should be a MAB. Each bug will have its own priority, and some will invariably be more important than others.

In any case, as long as it's not currently a MAB, changing Priority from highest down to high.

Also, is ASSIGNED the right state here --> is Radek still working on this one?
Comment 16 Carlo Strata 2015-09-21 07:17:48 UTC
Hi Eversione,

on 2014-07-14 (see bug's history), I added a new still unfixed bug:

Bug 81360 - PNGs with native transparency gradient and Impress transparency property set fail on presentation screen (both full and console)

I'm sorta for this latest comment.

Have a nice day,
