Base meta bug for all border related issues.

I often use the border feature as an underline for equations.
What I would need is to be able to click on border icon for it to apply
the last chosen border type instead of opening the border submenu, where
I can choose the wanted border.
I think it would increase productivity.
And if you want to choose another border type, you would have to click on the
arrow on the right side from the border icon for the menu to expanse.

This is a Meta. Your request would be against UI for the direct formatting of OLE Formula objects. Please write up and submit it as an enhancement request.

However please note that much of what you seek is already available by modifying the 'Formula' Frame style each OLE formula receives, and so applying that modified style rather than needing direct formatting. And if you need different border styles just duplicate/modify and assign frame style as needed.
